    Currie & Brown is currently looking for a cost engineer for a client location in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.


    Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:


    • Supporting the project controls engineer with detailed project accounting service in accordance with procedures
    • Undertaking invoice review for accuracy and identifying possible cost savings and close-out, benchmarking of final project costs
    • Coordinating with vendor finance, procurement and project managers along with project controls group
    • Performing other project controls duties as assigned




    • Bachelors’ degree in engineering, construction management, building construction or similar
    • A minimum of two years’ project controls experience in the construction industry
    • Knowledge of building construction, some general project management and estimating experience an advantage
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
    • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
    • Knowledge of Unifier software and SAP desirable
