    Currie & Brown is currently looking for a construction project manager for our client in Joplin, MO. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

     

    • Managing projects to completion (including qualification) on time and within budget
    • Coordinating all necessary resources through end of projects
    • Coordinating update of project schedules
    • Undertaking responsibility for project management and financial management of projects
    • Executing scope of work with minimum interruption to existing facility operations
    • Reporting project progress and risks
    • Reporting to client's senior project managers
    • Actively participating in project coordination, contractor and scheduling meetings
    • Coordinating projects with all the necessary health and safety requirements
    • Coordinating development of project cost estimates at different funding gates
    • Working with purchasing group to obtain pricing from contractors, vendors and suppliers
    • Liaising with clients, end-users and non-construction persons within client’s organization

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    • Five to ten years’ experience in managing complex manufacturing projects
    • Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time
    • Ability to coordinate the construction of projects in accordance with plans, specifications and current standards/regulations
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Good understanding of Microsoft tools
    • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload
    • Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
    • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
    • PMP or similar qualifications an advantage
